Pubs in America

Today we went to a pub for lunch. In case anyone is wondering, NO, it was not my choice. I didn't like eating at pubs in Britian, let alone in America. But I must admit that the Caesar salad there, while not wonderful, was certainly better than any salad at a real British pub.
We met this couple at church a few months back and had yet to spend any time with them outside of church, so when they invited us to lunch today, I couldn't say no! :) And I'm glad I didn't, it was a good time despite the choice of dining establishment.
I also ended up buying the Nike+ armband. I haven't tried it yet, as I do not believe in running in 90* scorching sun. I'll use it tomorrow morning and let y'all know how it works...I'm sure you're all on the edge of your seats with anticipation!!
Also, for anyone keeping track of the weird foods I've been bravely trying lately, I have a new one for you: vichyssoise. It can best be described as "blahhheeghghg" (with a gagging sound at the end.) I went to a dinner party with some friends last night. The party was fun, but seriously...cold potato soup???

I like potato soup, but I much prefer it to be hot. Also, eating at a pub actually sounds like it would be pretty enjoyable. Maybe thats just me.

Dude, seriously? What's the deal with the peanut butter and toast? I think other than that salad, you dine solely on peanut butter. In that light, I think I'll begin to eat only ice cream and the occasional pizza.

Oh, yes, it's 4:31 in the morning. Cleaning is awesome at the Hut.

I like PB 'n' T. Fishy Swah is just OK. I like friends. I like Friends. I like pubs, but not Guiness. I do NOT like running, much less running in scorching sun.

I was told that I should drink a glass of Guiness to help with my milk supply. Still debating that one. Em says to say Hi and that she needs her Auntie Bean to give her some hugs.

I hear if you mix a little Guiness in with your cold potato soup it will sustain you and make you pasty white!
