Since I could not afford to buy the new Norah Jones album, I downloaded the songs from Acquisition last week. I like it, but it's got a very different feel from her other 2 albums. I guess I'll wait and see, it might be one of those that I grow to like more after a few more times of listening to it.
We did watch those first 4 episodes of Lost that we rented. It was interesting, and we did enjoy it, though I don't really think I can compare it to our true TV addiction: 24. Anyway, I'd like to keep watching, as I'm sure we'd get more into it as it progressed. Unfortunately, I did the math, and it costs approximately $1 per episode to rent. While that may not seem like a lot of money, it is a lot more than nothing, which is how much it would cost to borrow it from Kayla someone who already owns it. So we may just wait and do that.
The San Antonio rodeo is this week. We almost went. But then Ashley didn't win free tickets from her work, so instead we watched The Office. I don't think I've ever actually been to a rodeo, but I hear that it's quite an experience.
Anyway, it's time for us to go to Old Navy and see if we can spend our Christmas gift cards.
Have a great weekend!

I listened to the Norah Jones cd a week or two back and I actually enjoyed the new sound *more* than her usual. Sorry though, I did not buy it. Glad you liked Lost and I'm sure that you will grow to love it even more as time goes by.
I just have one question, why is there a line through my name? It looks like you tried to cross it out or something.
Have fun at Old Navy.

I find it extremely easy to not listen or buy Norah Jones albums. You could take my approach and listen to Davy Jones instead. Sorry that you missed the rodeo. It was fun.

We are also playing catch-up with Lost, but are not yet hooked. And we didn't go to a rodeo, either. And we watch 24. Wow! It's like we are 2 sides of the same coin.

Just yesterday I got the Norah Jones from aquisition and I also didn't like it as much as her other cd's. I have never watched lost or been to a rodeo. I have however been to Old Navy and liked it just fine. If you can't find something to buy for yourself I do know that they have a cute baby section.

Well, I enjoyed your blog, but we did just the opposite with Lost/24! We were really into 24, but it got so it seemed to be the same thing every week. Then Carey & her gang loaned us their set of the 1st season. We rented the 2nd season, and now we are just coming off of a long (I mean really long) hiatus while the show revamped. But if we hadn't had the history we would probably not have got hooked on it either.
I guess the reason there are so many shows on TV is so all of us can sample and make choices, huh?
good luck on selliing the house. We're praying for you.
