Numchuck skills...computer hacking skills...

You know...SKILLS!

As mom would say, the spare room now looks like it fell victim to a tornado, but we've actually gotten alot done this weekend! We have most of the stuff for our air-shipment ready to go. It's all sitting in a pile on the dining room rug. The only things left for tomorrow are the computer and the kitchen stuff (pots, pans, utensils, dishes). Figuring out which clothes to take was the hardest part. Let me ask all you Texans: is it unseasonably warm there or is it always like this?! It's weird packing warm weather clothes when it's 60˚or less outside! Anyway, I got some cleaning done, too. Hopefully that'll make it a little easier for Jay before the final inspection.

Tuesday or Thursday I am hoping to get an appointment at the Family Support Center to get some professional help with my resume. I found an HR vacancy with Department of the Navy in San Antonio that I am eligible to apply for. I have to submit my resume online to be considered. I wrote a resume a few weeks back, but I'll feel better about it if I get help from someone with skills!

We put up a sign on the bulletin board at the Post Office in our second attempt at advertising our car for sale! Tomorrow J is going to put one up at the Post Office on Molesworth, too. I think he's planning to make one to hang in the window as well. Now I guess we just sit back and pray that it will all work out smoothly.

Only 7 more days at work! 3 this week and 4 next week which will be spent trying to train my replacement. It's *so* close! And yet, too far away!!

Hey, Katie. It is unseasonably warm here. I believe the high's are normally in the lower 80's this time of the year. Of course, San Antonio is a little hotter than the Big D!

I agree with Lindsay. Bring light weight things and maybe even a pair of shorts. We can hardly wait for you to come back to the land of your ancestors!

The winter won't be hot but it is terribly warm right now. The problem that I have is the dang humidity. Living in Texas is great though!!!!!

Well, concerning the fat bride thing I thought I should enlighten you since Kayla might be too shy to do so.

... We were sitting in Starbucks, that is, Kayla, Brenda, Caleb and I, and there was a picture of someones wedding, but the bride was very overweight. Kayla and I thought that this was somewhat disturbing since we didn't know this girl and neither did anyone else. Brenda however felt very strongly that we were being very rude and she felt sorry for the girl in the picture. Ever since then, Brenda has been "Pro Fat Bride"....

OK, so your time is winding down quickly. Aren't there some things that you will miss from the UK? What about a Mars bar? What about the English countryside?
