Pahrump

Well, I slept for about 10 or so hours and I must say, I am feeling much better than I was last night!
I've been hearing about the dry, hot weather here for the past few months, but when we landed yesterday it was pouring down rain in Vegas. Last night we had a thunder/lightning/rain storm and it's been raining most of today as well. Hmm...not sure what happened to the desert-like weather, but I have not had the pleasure of experiencing it yet. It's funny, becuase when the fam came to see us in England it was warm and sunny for most of 2 weeks. Go figure. Anyway, we're supposed to get sun the rest of the week!
The camper I was supposed to stay in sold the day before I got here. Kind of a bummer. Thankfully, my selfless little sister is letting me sleep in her bed and she is sleeping on an air matress. Thanks, Eisel!! You're the best!
Tomorrow Chuck is supposed to get here (driving all the way from Redding)! I'm super stoked cuz I haven't gotten to see him since January, and even then we didn't get to spend a lot of time together since he went off to Hawaii. Chuck-if you're reading this, I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU TOMORROW!!
We had Sonic for dinner last night, but I haven't had a limeade yet, Marla. I will have to try one while I'm though.
That's it for now!

Welcome home! What a sweet family you have. A bed, Sonic, and a limeade in the future. England has nothing on Paruphfff or however you spell that word.

Well, I was wondering why you kept complaining about the weather in England. When I was there for most of July a while ago, it was sunny most of the time. Is that because of the time of year or did God just want me to have fun in London? Glad you are having fun!

Since you are so close I think that you should pack Caleb & Lauri in the Jeep and take a road trip to Redding. We are getting our extra mattress on Friday so there is a place for you to sleep.

Hey, niece. I can understand why you haven't gotten your limeade yet. It *is* a long way over to Sonic from the Reverend's place. Plus, they don't accept Pounds or Euros, so you couldn't even pay for it. And you should be thankful that you are not facing more typical desert weather. This should be a nice transition for you. Now, we've just got to get you hooked on Survivor...

Katie, so glad you are back here with the rest of the fam. Hope you do well without you husband. I hate it when mine is away so I will pray for you both. Can't wait to find a time to see you.

I'm with Brenda on the packing up of Lauri and Caleb. I'm sorry about the trailer but I least you get to sleep in Lauri's bed, I did once but I fell out because her canopy was open (you'll have to ask lauri). Anyway I'm jealous and happy for you at thesame time if that makes sense.
