Hooray for metal detectors!!
I found my wedding ring! We went out to the lake yesterday and spent about an hour searching with the metal detector. We were actually thinking about giving up when Dave called J. I figured while he was on the phone, I would go back over the section of the yard where I thought I'd lost at least one of the rings. I heard a high-pitched beep rather than the numerous low ones we'd been hearing, so I kneeled down to search through the grass and I found it!
We didn't find the engagement ring, but since I wasn't expecting to find either, I'm actually pretty stoked.
Also, Scott and Caroline were out there with Scott's parents (who own the lakehouse). They had a party earlier in the day and were still hanging out so we got to go out on the boat and do some more tubing. We also chilled on the deck and ate dinner (leftover from the party) while visiting with them. It's beautiful out there, and the weather was so nice!
Well, I think we're gonna go watch some 24. Thanks for the ring-prayers! :)

YEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! I'm so happy for you! I'm sorry that you didn't find your engagement ring but I'm glad that you found your wedding ring. Did you find anything else cool?
That's really exciting that you actually found it! I'm glad you got to go tubing again. That's so fun! Have a good time with your 24. :)
Congratulations. Did you find anything else that was worth keeping? I've seen those commercials, and some people claim that a metal detector changed their financial life.
I'm so happy you found your wedding ring! I was sad for you and really afraid you wouldn't find them at all. You know what you need to do now? Go get a new engagement ring!
I guess that means your married, but you were never able to enjoy that "oh so stressful" engagement!!!! Good Deal!
I'm glad you found your ring. I hate losing stuff but I can't say I've ever lost anything as significant as that. Tubing is lots of fun but last time I went we had a bad experience. It's a long story so i'll spare you most of the details. We got out to Jones valley and realized that we forgot the boat key. So the girl whose dad owns the boat calls her dad to bring out the key. You could probably say that they are "Well off" because he brought it out there in the Viper. Then we launched and were on the lake for maybe a half hour before the same girl falls off the tube and breaks her nose. It's bleeding a lot and she passed out in the water so we got her out and took her to the Emergency Room. But that's not all, on the way out of Jones Valley we see the viper getting loaded up onto a tow truck. Some old people pulled out in front of him and he smashed his front end all up. So it was a pretty bad day for that family. Well I get the award for longest comment and that was the readers digest version. Glad you had fun tubing!
Congrats on locating the circular symbol of an eternal marriage.
I'm diggin my new button title.
YEAH. The wedding ring is the most important anyway. Have J go get you a new engagement ring for your anniversary
