my poor baby...

Well, this day is off to an interesting start. Apparently the battery in my 4Runner is *almost* dead.
When we got home from A&M's Saturday night, we forgot to turn off the lights. It had a tough time starting yesterday for Church, but J didn't know why. Then after Church it was even worse. That's when he realized what was going on. We came home and jumped it, then there seemed to be no problem.
Not so much this morning, though. He tested it before leaving and it wouldn't start. He jumped it and it's running right now in the garage. I'm praying that there will be no issues with getting to work. Hopefully J can take some time during work to go buy a battery and come to my work and replace it....otherwise, he'll have to come jump it again or pick me up from work.
If you're reading this on Monday, pray that the battery is the only problem and we'll have it fixed before tomorrow!

Happy Day, I fixed it. I know, I know, I'm the man. What can I say. I'm a natural mechanical genius.

I'm glad the natural mechanic genius fixed it. If it makes you feel any better I have a flat tire that I'm too lazy to get fixed. I just fill it up everyday.

I'm glad you fixed it, dude. I was going to suggest it could also be a problem with the alternator not charging the battery. Now, it's is of no use to consider that possiblity.

He was only able to fix it because he called me and asked me what to do. Luckily I have dealt with that kind of thing on many occasions so it was no problem conveying the solution to your husband over the phone. What can I say? I'm a natural mechanical genius.

Funny, I wondered why Kayla called me and asked me how to change a battery today! You're welcome Kayla (and Justin).

Yay! I'm glad he fixed it for ya'. That's great! Happy August today. Isn't that weird that it's already August? Maybe not, it just seems like you can't ever get a long enough summer.

Was he able to make use of his fancy new workbench? Or is that where you changed the color of his apple?

I'm glad that he fixed it. I'm reading this on Thursday. Can I still be thankful in prayer that it's fixed?

I think, that in light of his fixing it- I mean me telling him how to fix it, you should update.

That's so cool that you have all those books! I really like them, and I'd LOVE to come and read them at your house! Not to mention we could go clo shopping. :) That is, of course, as long as I come after October so we'd know to get pink or blue.
There are seven of those books now I think. One is a prequel. (Is that how you spell that?) Anyway, I'm glad I've taught you how to correctly use the exclamation point! I love you!!

Oops, just one more bit of good news. I found some great jeans at Mervyn's!! I think the last time I found jeans that fit was while you were here. Isn't that when I got them? Anyway, (am I using that word too much lately?) I found some that were on sale (as in *incredibly* on sale, like from $38 to $18, and then down to $13 because of the card) and they fit really great. Okay, that's all I have to say now, I just really needed to share that bit of excitement with you! :)
