T - one week

Well, I haven't decided what we're doing for Thanksgiving this year. Since I have to work the following day, we won't be going out of town. We were supposed to eat lots of food (I mean, celebrate) with A&M, but now they are thinking about going to Houston. If that's the case, then I guess we are supposed to go to Carl and Jenny's for the day. I believe her family is coming into town.
I dunno, since we can't spend it with family, I kinda just want to hang out at home. That probably won't happen, though. I won't be cooking a turkey and I'm pretty sure it's some kind of unwritten law that Turkey Must Be Eaten On The 4th Thursday In November unless you happen to be in a foreign country. Too bad we aren't in Spain. Besides that, if I opted to stay home, I would have to listen to lots of people say things like, "oh, why didn't you tell me you didn't have anyone to spend Thanksgiving with, you could've come over!" Because clearly, one would have to be out of her mind to actually choose to spend Thanksgiving at home...with only her husband...and no Turkey...or pie.
But who ever said I was in my mind?

That reminds me, I really want to see "Stranger Than Fiction". Maybe we can go this weekend. Anyone care to come with me?

Katie, my love, how I wish you could come out here and join our bunch. Probably should call them the "wild bunch". We'll have your parents, Caleb & Lauri, Randy & Kathie, Kyle, Lyndsay & Bella, Alison, James, Carey, Leigh, Jay, Paul, & maybe Kari, too! Always room for more around the table. Well, it's a nice thought, anyway. We love you and are thankful for both of you! Wherever you are.

I wish you could come to Dallas! June and George will be here. But I say stay home if you want. I never liked turkey or pie much anyway.

I'll come see it with you! As for turkey day, well... I agree, if I couldn't spend it with family, I would rather just stay home and watch the parade or something.

Stranger than fiction was good. The Cowboys are on, what better excuse than that can you have for staying home?
