We had a fire drill at work today! Oops, I mean an emergency evacuation...drill...thingy. It's kinda funny, obviously they can't set off an loud, obnoxious, seemingly never-ending alarm (as they did at my previous place of employment), since there are lots of people on the phone. So instead, these very bright lights start blinking and the OST people (that's Office Safety Team!) walk through and tell us which exit to use. I wonder if it could possibly be that calm in the even of an actual emergency?
Well, luckily it was a very nice day out there this morning, so we all walked out away from the building and stood around in the grass for about 10 minutes.
It was a pretty nice break!

That's funny. I don't really think that fire drills are supposed to be little breaks, but hey! Maybe they are. :) Glad it was nice.

We had a fire drill a few days ago and Mr.Demsher lined us up next to the propane tanks outside. He's such a kind man...

We have them at work, but they have the really loud alarms, flashing lights and we usually end up being out in the yard for a good 20 minutes! Good times, until I started really worrying about getting lots done (aka "supervising")!

I usually try to hide in my office during those, but at our place, they are stinking loud.

By the way, tell hubby to re-enable comments.

Hey Katie What's up? Just wanted to say Howdy. I love this Blog thing and being able to talk to people so far away. So have you bought anything pink yet. I'm so excited, now I can direct all my energy to one color. Blue or Pink? Um... it's pink.
