Jack
My good friend Ashley (and her husband) got a puppy today. It is a Jack Russel Terrier named Jack. His full name is actually Jack Bower. :) I have not met him yet, but I will in about an hour.
You may be thinking that this is a weird thing for me to post about, and you may be right. But that is not the point. The crazy thing is that I have agreed that Jay and I will "babysit" him next weekend. Yes, I have agreed to let a dog not just come into my house, but to stay in here for an extended period of time (yeah, like 2 days). For any of you who may not know, I am a TOTAL clean freak and while I don't dislike dogs, I certainly do not love them. May this be a true testament that I am a good friend. Jay is hoping this will change my mind and I will decide that we can get a dog. I don't expect this to happen, but I guess there is always a small chance of a miracle.
On a completely unrelated note, I have decided that my post labels will reflect whatever I am currently eating, or the most recent thing that I have eaten. This way I will have labels, but will not have to waste any time thinking of them. Oh, and also, they will be useless.

Hey, Katie & Jay! Hope you enjoy dog sitting! When you come by here, you can get acquainted with our Charly again, and Jay can get to meet her. You wanna talk sweet dogs.....
The weather here is glorious, sunny and cool, like it should be in early spring. We took Charly for a walk this afternoon, and she loved it. She thinks she is as tough as the big dogs she sees and hears outside. But if they start toward her, she hides behind me or Don for protection! Silly pup! She will be 9 years old in April!
We will be going to Colorado for Don to ski with Rick and the kids. Denise & I will be taking care of Walker, and enjoying a warm house out of the snow!
I am jealous that you are eating pineapple. That is the one thing that makes me sick every time I eat it during this pregancy. I am not jealous however of the fact that you are dog sitting. You are a true friend. I hope you don't feel that way when you babysit Emily though.
Congrats on the dog sitting. I'm sure Lauri will be proud. As for your labels, thats a very clever idea. On the other hand, dried pineapple pieces is a weird thing to eat.
I agree with Kayla, dried pineapple pieces are a very weird thing to eat. I'm not sure about you and the dog sitting, it reminds me of the time that I let a little dog ride in my car from Texas all the way to Nevada!
Yeah, I'm with Kayla and Zachary, I'm not much for the dried pineapple. But I've been giving some to Daisy! That's awesome that you're dogsitting!!! Is it actually going to be like, running all around your house? I am proud, although insanely surprised! :)
I'm getting a dog, I'm getting a dog! Woohoo, after all these years. I am just so excited.
I had some dried pizza pieces for dinner tonight. However, I did not label my post after it.
