My trip so far
I can't believe it's been so long. I'm sure all of my fans out there have been wondering about me. Well, I'm still here in the beautiful town of Pahrump. :)
My best friend Chuck (see picture posted below, if anyone reading this doesn't know him) left this morning to go back to Redding. I absolutely *hate* good-byes. I try so hard not to cry, but it seems to happen anyway. I'm getting better, though. I no longer hide out in my room to avoid them. Or maybe I just couldn't, as I don't have a room here. Although there really isn't much to do here, we had a great time hanging out. This is the most time we've spent together since 2002. I don't know when I'll get to see him again, so it makes the good-bye even harder. I'm trying to convince him to move to Texas, but so far it hasn't worked...so far... :)
Monday we all went to Vegas to do some shopping. Eisel and I had the pleasure of visiting 2 Old Navy stores in 1 day!! :) I had a $10 off coupon and a gift card that Chuck gave me for my birthday, so I got some great stuff! Also, we went to the Galleria Mall, where I got spend a while in Bath and Body Works, and get a few tubes of my flavorite lip gloss.
Tuesday Chuck and I went back to Vegas so I could see the strip and we could hang out and get some souvenirs for his brother and sister. We went to several casinos/hotels/malls on the strip, but the best part was watching the water fountain show in front of the Bellagio. We stayed for two songs, both of which were incredible to watch, and much cooler looking than I even expected.
While looking for the Bellagio, we found a Denny's in the middle of the strip, so that's where we had lunch. Delectable! (Even better than Sonic, Zachary!)
Another (more expensive) highlight of the day was riding the Manhattan Express, the roller coaster at New York New York. (It's the red one you see in skyline pictures of the strip.) That was a blast. The dude in front of us lost his hat and Chuck almost caught it!
Now I have a week and a day until I leave for San Antonio. Mom wants me to arrange her kitchen, so I figure that could take a day or so. There is a Chili Cook-Off/Hoe-down at church on Saturday night. Do y'all have *any* idea how much FUN that will be?!? We can hardly wait!
Vacation is fun, but I also can't wait to get to Texas and start a new phase of our lives there. The movers packed up most of our stuff Tuesday, I say "most" because they somehow *forgot* to pack several things. Ugh. Anyway, now Jay is living with loaner furniture for a few days until he goes into billetting on the 1st. I feel kinda guilty that he has had to spend all this time in England while I am in the states. I miss you, Jay! :)

Sounds like a fun visit! Good news, it has cooled off down here. If it continues, it should be in lower 70's when you arrive. Great moving weather if you ask me!
Ask Mr. Chile what he thinks of Dennys. Ask me who I think is getting the raw end of the deal on spending days in England or NV. Ask every female in the family about what they think of you getting to go to 2 Old Navy stores in one day. Ask the dude in front of you what he thought of the ride. Ask not what you can do for your church; ask what the church can do to throw a rip-roaring hoe-down!

Wait a minute I thought Zachary and I were your best friends. I feel so rejsected now. Have you had your limeade at Sonic yet? You can't say Denny's is better than Sonic ever! It's just not alowed. Best frends, whatever.
Can you hear the sarcasm!!
Of coarse Ellyn and I are best freinds, the way God intended it. We had the limeaid, it tasted "great" (I heard the sarcasm in that last sentance). And I will allow it (insert hand motion here).
is it stil a tipo if i do it on porpoise
Yo woman, I miss you! But hey only 7 days and 25 minutes from right now until I leave to come back to you. You are the man.
It sounds like you are making the best of being away from Justin. I know you are anxious to be together and check out SA. When will you come to see us? Do you have Thanksgiving plans? We are very close and I can make pie. And there will be a baby to cuddle. We'd love to have you if you aren't going to visit your immediate family.
