Texas
We just got back from a meeting with our loan officer, where we were again amazed by how *nice* Texans are. Before any Texans reading this try to tell me that this is a delayed realization, I would like to say that yes, all of y'all are also very nice, but I didn't know if that might just be because you're related to me! :) So anyway, the meeting went very well, and it looks like we *may* be able close on this house by the end of the month!
Since we got a VA loan, it is up to them to do the appraisal on the house and I guess they have up to 10 business days to get it done. Please pray that they finish it before that (specifically, by the 21st) so that we can get a move on. Mostly we are just praying that everything will be complete before the 6th of December, as that is when the 1 month lease on our apartment ends.
Other than house stuff, I don't have a lot else to post about, tomorrow we go car shopping!

I'm the first!!
I hope you get to move in really soon. Have fun car shopping!
I left you a long message yesterday and it is not here. I hope I didn't leave it on someone else's post! I have to go get Ben at A.J.'s house and take him to a wrestling meet or I'd re-do it now. Later!
Just thought that I would tell you that I was saved my home sweet home candle to burn at our open house and it smelled wonderful. I also hung up my windchime and I love how it is just a soft bamboo sound and not a clangy metal sound like you get with other chimes. Thank you fo the presents. I guess I need to reciprocate now that you have a house. Do you know the move in date yet? What is your new address?
Well, I had a car wreck on the way to get Ben, but I'm here now. I can't fail to notice the size of your house -- ginormous. I have two words to say -- Estate Sales. These are the most wonderful places to find great, high quality furniture with character to fill your lovely house. If you are interested, let me know and I'll give you the Estate Sale details and hints! Love --
i was thinking the other day about our first day at holiday when alan pulled us into the breakroom to teach us how to "spot mop." look how far we've come. i'm really proud of you.
