He's so sweet

I wanted to get my hair cut yesterday. Well, really I just wanted the ends trimmed off. I called Supercuts to see if I could get an appointment and the chick said they only do walk-ins. I asked their hours and she told me 10-6. So after talking to my husband for a while, I headed out to Supercuts at about 10:30. I got there at about 10:35 (Pahrump is pretty small!) and the sign on the door said "CLOSED: Business hours...Friday 10:00 - 6:00..." But there wasn't really anything going on at home and I had my iPod with me, so I decided to sit there listening to music until someone showed up. At about 11:15 or so, the chick showed up and explained that she had locked herself out of the shop. Apparently she is the only one who works there. But she had found a locksmith so soon I was getting my haircut. She took off at least 2 inches, but I guess it's no big deal.
When I got home, these awesome flowers were sitting on the counter. Mom said they came for me!
They are personalized with a little I LOVE YOU card from my sweet husband. It's kind of hard to tell, but the vase is triangular, which Eisel and I think is super cute. I wish there was a way to keep them alive forever!! They will be brightening my days until I get to see my wonderful, thoughtful husband again next month.
Anyway, I thought I should share this, as I don't want Zachary to think he is the only awesome husband out there. Marla's last post made him sound prooty good!

Here is a close up.
Although I LOVE them, I don't know know anything about flowers,
I don't even know what they are called.
I'm sure someone out there must know...

I love the jean blanket background. or is it gene? No probably not because then it would be Gene's blanket background and I don't think you know anyone named Gene that would be williing to let you use his blanket. But anyway, brownie points for Lauri for making that sweet thing. Even if she did use my mom's jeans.

They look like a type of orchid to me. They are very beautiful. I love orchids too. I know you are anxious to be with Justin and TEXAS. I wish I knew all of you people's nicknames. About the time I figure something out, a new one comes up!

Eisel - Of course the pics rock...you took 'em!

Zachary - I really miss y'all too. I wish it would've worked out for you to come get me so we could spend some time together and I could see your new house. Soon, hopefully. I love you!

Kayla - I know one dude named Gene, but I am certain I would not want to use his blanket...even if it was just for a picture. But I *love* jean blankets. Marla made me (oops, I mean "us") one for our wedding gift and I use it ALL the time!

Aunt Nisey - I *am* SO excited. I hope we get to see y'all soon, too. I'll have to your number so I can call you sometime next month and talk about coming up there. You were right, they are orchids. :)

Those are beautiful! Maybe my husband will start feeling insecure and buy me flowers. He has been a little slack in that department recently.
