Okay...I admit
Jack is much cuter than I expected him to be. He's just a teeny little puppy dog. I don't think I'll have too much of a problem with him staying the weekend, as long as he doesn't do his business on my carpet. EEEeeew!
J is now trying to convince me that we need to go buy one of Jack's brothers. I don't think I'm there though...plus, they're kind of expensive.
Still no news on the house. But it's only 8 days till we go to California!! Whoo-Hoo!! Hopefully Emily will make her debut into the world sometime between now and then.
I had a meeting with my boss today. We were talking about my trip next month. As the discussion wore on, she asked me point blank: "Do you think you'll move back to California?". I didn't know what to say. I haven't told her (or anyone at work other than Matt). I figured it would be better to wait until the house sells. I just said "probably someday, we don't know yet". But it felt kind of deceptive.

First of all, you eat the weirdest things. Secondly, I know what you mean about feeling deceptive. That sort of thing has happened to me before and it was rather awkward. I think you should get a puppy but thats just me.
Do I need to tell you how I feel about puppies!? Of course not. I cannot even remember how long I have felt that way...I guess all my life. But I didn't have one while we were having our babies. then the kids had dogs off and on...and then I got a Dachsie for Christmas one year.....need I go on?
just in time, shasta's getting loads of snow. Emily is just an excuse to go skiing right?
Heck yes you should get a puppy! I hope we get to see you when we go to see Emily! She's gonna be the cutest little girl!
I vote no on the puppy, at least during the time of moving and temporary living, etc. Once you have a place, go for it. We love out doggy, but it's a little different now because he got married and had a baby.
Still no niece for you. It's looking like she may only be a day old by the time you see her. Are you looking forward to Jamba Juice? Have fune with the puppy this weekend.
