Less than a day!!

It's a shame that little Emily is starting out so late, but I'm secretly a little bit excited that she will still be a teeny tiny newborn when I meet her. (That's a secret though, so don't tell Marla...I am merely stating the positive aspect of a clearly sucky situation for her.) I love you Marla! :)
I am trying desperately to get well right now. I don't want to be sick when I get to California, as I may not be allowed near Emily.
I woke up feeling yucky, but went to work anyway. I ended up coming home. It's not so much that I feel terribly sick, it's that my throat hurts and when I am talking (which I do pretty much constantly at work) it makes me cough, which is what is making my throat hurt to begin with. Is it just me, or do your fingers also try to type an "ough" combo when you mean to type the word "throat"?
Well, I am in the middle of doing laundry and packing. Our friend Todd is picking us up at 4:15 in the morning to go to the airport. Hopefully our ski bag will fit in his vehicle. :)

My fingers never try and type the word through when I really want to type the word throat. Then again I don't really have a lot of opportunites to use the word throat while typing. Except for just then, which makes a grand total of about four times using the word through... I mean throat.
:D
