what's wrong with my bloggy-blog?

Is anyone else having problems with blogger? For some reason mine won't publish even though I just sat here and typed out a post!

I have nothing to say

For some reason I just haven't come up with anything to post about this month. I'm really not sure why. Anyway, I'm trying not to bore y'all when there's nothing to say.
Next weekend we are going to Dallas for the first Mav's game of the season. I'm pretty excited cuz I'm a little sheltered when it comes to sports and I've never actually been to a real basketball game! :) That also means we get to see Nanny for a few days, so that's fun, too.
Oh, and I have Thursday and Friday off work. Whoo-Hoo!

Sick of being sick

I stayed home from church this morning with hopes that resting will restore my health. I've been feeling sickly ever since Thursday night. It's getting old really fast. I'm bummed about missing church. Today we were supposed to pack our shoeboxes for the Christmas shoebox ministry. I guess J is going to pack mine, though.
I hate spending the weekend sitting around doing nothing, but I don't have much energy to do anything, so I'm kinda stuck.
We did get out for about an hour yesterday to get the oil changed on the 4Runner and the Suzuki. Then, as I was getting back into the 4Runner to go home, I slammed my knee into the door (or maybe the steering wheel, I'm not really sure). It HURTS!!! I have a nice bruise on my left kneecap. And by nice I mean painful and gross.
Anyway, enough whining for now.

It's no Jamba...

At Jenny's recommendation, J and I went to Smoothie King on Saturday. It was delicious. Because it was so good, we went again today. So far, the Pep Upper is my flavorite. If you live near a Jamba Juice, then I hope you understand how truly lucky you are. If not, then I highly recommend trying Smoothie King, as it is definitely the 2nd best on my list.

Another weekend gone

Well, it's almost Monday again. We had a fun weekend. Yesterday I hung out with some of the girls from our LifeGroup at Jenny's house. Then after that was over, J and I went back up there to hang out with Carl and Jenny and have some dinner.
Jenny and I went to Chili's to pick up dinner, and when we got in her car to take the food home, the car would not start. Apparently it may be a blown head gasket. Sounds bad. Anyway, we feel very sorry for them, as losing a car is AWFUL, but other than that it was a fun evening. We also went to Bath and Body Works, where I got some new oil for my oil burner. It is one of their new scents called Tropical Passionfruit. It's great.
J and I did the welcome table at church this morning. The chick that was supposed to meet me there never showed up, but another girl who only works it on the 5th Sunday decided to stay with me for a bit, so that was nice. We got to meet a lot of people and I'm hoping I'll be able to remember some of them.
Other than that, I've pretty much been obsessed with this riddle game that Marla got me hooked on. I'm giving myself a break from it by typing this, but I'm gonna have to get back to it now.
